Minimal Input– you are wanting us to do almost all the work while providing the bare essential input.

We understand that some people are busy or, wouldn’t know where to start when helping us create the website that best suits their business. This is where the information in this form will help. When choosing minimal input we will base the site design and layout from our years of experience that best suits your business type and existing logo/branding. Keep in mind this will be our interpretation of your business. At the very least we need your logo and website copy/content (About Us, Services, Products, FAQ, Testimonials, Contact Info etc.)

Prepared & Ready – you already have or soon to have digital artwork, website copy/content written and an idea of their website layout through reference examples.

This is a good place to be, so for the best results it is good to invest some time and input into your website construction, no one knows your business like you. Once you supply this information to us then we’ll have a good idea of what you want and can get started.

Full Oversight – you have basically designed the whole website in rough sketch format and just need us to turn it into a functioning responsive website.

Communication is best for these situations as we need to get the information out of your head and into a design and layout. Make sure you read and answer all the information & questions in this form and send through your outline.

Step 1 - Discovery Process

Help us get to know your business

Please answer as many of the questions below. Even though we may know some of the questions already it helps to get an idea of your perspective. Or at the least, read through them as it may give you some fresh ideas on how to formulate and present your site.

Step 3 - Supplying Content

What Content Should You Supply

To get a better understanding of different types of content to supply please read, “A Guide To A Well Structured Homepage.pdf”. While we’ll take care of the look, design and the most effective site structure, we cannot tell the story of your business or know the type of customers you want to attract, you'll do this with your written content. Remember when writing your website content to always keep in mind “How will this benefit my customers”, is this information important to me or them?... the answer is them.

please let us know how you would like to supply your content?
Please let us know if you have a dropbox account

The easiest way to transfer files is via Dropbox, if you don't know what this is then search YouTube "Dropbox Beginners" or watch this video (How to use Dropbox). I have or will create a folder using my Dropbox account () and have or will share a folder using your email (the email on quote). You will get a join request (sent via Dropbox), just approve and create your free dropbox account. If you create a Dropbox account before I send the request and used a different email address than the email on your quote, then please list the email you registered with below.

Other Ways of Supplying Content

  • Word Document: Place all your site information into a Word document using the headings as menu titles, with the text under that heading as the website page information. You can use a different colour or highlight when you are describing what you would like your developer to do on that page or use the Review Tab in Word (if you're familiar with this). You can add images into the word document if you like (as examples) but please supply the images as attachments in your email for a better image quality.
  • Google Drive: if you prefer to use Google drive then please include me in your share folder by using the email
  • Email: Yes, naturally you can just supply the content and images using email, this is fine for smaller sites but for larger ones with lots of images and documents it’s best to use Dropbox.

Type of Content To Be Supplied

Professional Photos - if you're wanting to use professional photos, please send us your selected images using Dropbox as a preferred delivery method. Keep the images at a high or default resolution as we may need to crop some images to make them fit better into your site. You can email the images but try to Zip them, so they don't embed into the email lowering their resolution.

Menu and sub-menu titles plus all page content information

Compulsory: These are the main navigation elements on your website (sometimes referred to as tabs), such as Home, About Us, Services, Contact Us, etc. Sub-menus are additional menu items or information that are related to the top-level menu items. For example, the About Us page might have sub-menus like 'Company Values & Our History', etc. You don't have to submit this information through this form because it may not be finalised or written yet. If we are responsible for creating the content, you only need to provide us with your menu and page titles.

Remember, you can utilise ChatGPT to assist you with your content. However, we strongly advise against simply copying and pasting the AI-generated content without humanising it. This is because Google might detect AI-written content, and it may not rank well in search results.

Common Questions

Q: How long will it take?
A: This will depend on when we receive all site content & how high our workload is. We want to produce high quality work, finish the project, get paid & have a satisfied customer as soon as possible. It is not uncommon for us to have up to 5 projects running at a time, plus other client commitments, so unfortunately we don't have too much time to repeatedly chase up content. We can have your site completed on average in a week or two when all content is supplied.

Q: What is your process?
A: In Short....

  1. deposit Invoice is paid
  2. you fill out this welcome/start-up kit
  3. we create the framework on a temporary server
  4. you supply content & preferred site design and examples
  5. we layout the site structure and make it look good
  6. when we think the site looks good, we show you
  7. you tell us your thoughts and corrections and we make those changes (rinse & repeat)
  8. you are happy with our work and pay the final invoice
  9. the site goes live & we do some final procedures that can only be implemented when live
  10. you tell everybody how great we are!

Please call if you have any questions, I am here to help.

You will receive an email receipt summarising your selections upon submission, if you don't see it please check your spam/junk email folder. You can also update the information on this form by using the link supplied at the bottom of the email. Any changes made will notify us, so we don't miss anything.
