Website Health & Performance Care

Your website stays working for you—not just looking nice with our monthly health checks, performance tune-ups and ongoing optimisation for sites we built (or manage)

Your website is an active asset. Our Website Health & Performance Care keeps it evolving—delivering the best experience to every visitor and helping your online presence grow alongside your goals.

What This Service Is (and Why It Matters)

This isn’t about core updates or security patches—that’s still covered by your Hosting, Security & Maintenance package. Instead, our Website Health & Performance Care Plans focus on:

  • SEO Refinement & Enhancements

    Measured or Unmeasured

We also implement essential on-page SEO improvements. While SEO companies often provide insights and analytics, they typically leave the actual implementation to your developer (us). We take a proactive approach—making those improvements directly, so your site stays optimised without you having to manage the back and forth.

  • UX (User Experience) & Site Flow

UX (User Experience) & Site Flow

Using 20 years of web design experience

Leveraging 20 years’ web-design expertise, we audit how real visitors navigate your site, find information and interact with your content. Web standards and user expectations shift rapidly; this service ensures your site stays current, intuitive and visually on-trend.

Q: If some tasks are one-off, what do you do in later months?

A: The plans aren’t about repeating the same checklist forever – they’re about steadily working through an improvement list for your site. Some things are one-off jobs (like fixing old meta data); once they’re done, we don’t keep charging you to “re-fix” them. Instead, we move on to the next priorities: new areas to improve, fresh checks as your content changes, and ongoing tweaks based on how people are actually using your site.

Lower-level plans move through that list more slowly. Higher-level plans let us cover more ground each month and tackle bigger jobs sooner.

  • Choose your care level

Pick the plan that best matches your site and goals — Light Care, Standard Care or Premium Care.
Light focuses on essentials, Standard adds more structure and polish, and Premium gives you steady, deeper optimisation.

  • We review your site and set priorities

We start with a practical review of your website and how it’s currently being used. From there, we create a simple improvement list in plain English — speed, layout, forms, content clarity, basic SEO and anything else that needs attention.

  • Monthly improvement cycles

Each month, we work through that list at the pace of your chosen plan.
One-off jobs (like fixing old meta data or broken bits) are tackled first, then we move into ongoing refinements like UX tweaks, content updates and conversion improvements. Lower plans move more slowly; higher plans let us cover more ground each month.

  • Approval for major changes

If a change would significantly alter your content, layout or user journey, we’ll send you a short explanation and get your approval before we touch anything. No surprises, no “who changed this?” moments.

  • Clear report after each round

After each round of work, you’ll receive a plain-English report outlining:

    • What we worked on
    • Why those changes were made
    • Any improvements or issues we’ve noticed
    • What we recommend focusing on next

This way, UX & Performance Optimisation Care stays predictable, transparent and focused on what actually moves the needle for your site.

Why Continuous Front‑End Care Matters

When we built your site, we applied the very latest design, navigation and performance techniques available at that time. But in digital, “latest” is a moving target:

  • New UX patterns emerge every few months.
  • SEO best practices evolve as search engines refine their algorithms.
  • Business goals and user needs shift as your company grows.

What’s Included

Your UX & Performance Optimisation Care plan covers practical improvements to how your site works, feels and shows up in search. Below is a checklist of common items we work through – from SEO and content updates to technical fixes and usability tweaks. We’ll choose and prioritise the right mix for your site and care level.

FAQs

  • Why weren’t these optimisations included in my initial website build?

Some of these tasks—like basic on-page SEO, responsive design and performance tuning—are part of our standard build process. However, every website project is scoped to a fixed number of build hours. Including every possible audit, test and fine-tune in that initial block would significantly increase the cost of your “day-one” website.

When you launch, the priority is getting your brand and core content live efficiently. Once your site is active, you gain valuable data on how visitors behave, which keywords drive traffic and how you stack up against competitors. That’s when the deeper audits and ongoing tweaks really pay off. Our UX & Performance Optimisation Care lets you invest in those insights over time—when they deliver the greatest return—rather than front-loading all work into the build phase.

  • How do you track and report the work you do?

We keep a clear record of every round of work completed under your care plan. After each session, you’ll receive a simple report outlining what we worked on, which pages or features were touched, and why those changes were made. This gives you a transparent history of improvements without needing to worry about tracking hours.
  • Do unused credits roll over or build up?

Care plans aren’t based on a bank of hours or credits. They run month to month, with ongoing improvements made at the pace of your chosen plan (Light, Standard or Premium). You can pause or cancel at any time, but there’s no “rollover” of unused time from one month to the next.
  • Can I change my package size mid-term?

Absolutely. If you find you need more (or less) ongoing work, you can move between Light, Standard and Premium Care. We’ll help you choose the level that best matches your site’s current size, activity and goals, and you can adjust as things change.
  • What counts as a “major change” requiring approval?

Major changes include substantial content rewrites, page‐template overhauls or new functionality. Anything that could materially alter layout, branding or user journeys will be flagged for your sign-off.

  • How fast will you respond to my requests?

Every request is read immediately and triaged by priority:

    • Critical (e.g. site-down errors, broken forms): Work begins within 24 hours.
    • High-priority (e.g. major UX blockers, performance regressions): Completed within 48 hours.
    • Standard improvements (e.g. minor tweaks, optimisations): Delivered within one week.

When you submit a request, we’ll confirm receipt, share its priority level and let you know the expected completion timeframe.

  • Can I use my care plan for one-off projects outside regular reviews?

In many cases, yes. Smaller one-off tasks — like a quick content tweak, minor layout adjustment or simple feature change — can often be included as part of your regular care work.

If you need a larger one-off project (for example, a full new page, major redesign of a section, or new functionality), we’ll usually treat that as a separate Support Package or project. We’ll explain the options clearly so you can decide what suits you best.

  • What if I need more work than my care plan normally covers?

If we identify work that goes beyond what’s reasonable for your current care level in a given period — such as a larger restructure, new section, or more complex upgrade — we won’t just plough ahead. We’ll outline what’s involved and suggest options, such as:

    • Treating it as a separate Support Package or project, or
    • Moving to a higher care level if ongoing work at that pace makes sense.

You stay in control of what gets done and when.

  • What does “Unmeasured” mean under SEO Enhancements?

By default, our SEO enhancements are unmeasured. That means we apply on-page SEO tweaks based on proven best practices — things like meta tags, heading structure, image alt text and internal linking — without running paid third-party tracking tools in the background.

If you’d like measured SEO reporting (for example, detailed keyword tracking, rank reports or backlink analysis), we can organise this through a specialist SEO company we work with here in Townsville. They’ll provide the in-depth reports, and we’ll work alongside them to implement the recommendations as part of your UX & Performance Optimisation Care.

To enquire about fees for measured SEO reporting, please get in touch with us and we can discuss options.

Email or Website Connection Issues

The main purpose of this form is to capture your IP address, which will be sent automatically upon submission. The most common issue with email malfunctions is typically an IP block due to a failed IMAP or POP3 connection. Once I have your IP address, I can check your server for these blocked connections. This IP block is associated with server security; usually, there are over 100 valid blocks per day, but sometimes it blocks valid users.
