Website Health & Performance Care

Your website stays working for you—not just looking nice with our monthly health checks, performance tune-ups and ongoing optimisation for sites we built (or manage)

Your website is an active asset. Our Website Health & Performance Care keeps it evolving—delivering the best experience to every visitor and helping your online presence grow alongside your goals.

What This Service Is (and Why It Matters)

This isn’t about core updates or security patches—that’s still covered by your Hosting, Security & Maintenance package. Instead, our Website Health & Performance Care Plans focus on:

SEO Refinement & Enhancements

Measured or Unmeasured

We also implement essential on-page SEO improvements. While SEO companies often provide insights and analytics, they typically leave the actual implementation to your developer (us). We take a proactive approach—making those improvements directly, so your site stays optimised without you having to manage the back and forth.

UX (User Experience) & Site Flow

Available Plans

Light Care

price: $275/month (Inc. GST)

Suggested Time Frame: 6–12 month

Best for: Small brochure-style sites that rarely change.

  • Monthly UI & Navigation Audit
  • Basic Performance Testing & PageSpeed tweaks
  • Front-End SEO Touch-Ups (meta-tags, headings, alt text)
  • Form Functionality Testing
  • Image & Media Optimisation

Light Care

Best for: Small brochure-style sites, tradies and local services that don’t change much but still need a regular check-up.

What it does

  • Starts with the essentials – speed, basic SEO checks, forms and obvious “broken bits”.
  • Looks over your homepage and key pages to make sure everything still looks right and works as expected.
  • Gives images a light clean-up so they’re not slowing things down.
  • Over time, chips away at a simple improvement list so your site gradually gets cleaner and smoother.

How it runs

  • Set up as a gentle, ongoing care plan.
  • Each visit, we focus on one main area that will give you the most benefit next.
  • As one-off jobs are completed, we move on to the next most important items for your site.

Timeframe

There’s no fixed timeframe – this is a month-to-month service, but it’s often used over 6–12 months for smaller sites that need slow and steady improvements rather than a big overhaul.

Key benefits

  • Peace of mind that your site is still working properly.
  • Affordable way to keep a smaller site tuned without a big monthly spend.
  • Gradual, low-stress improvement instead of doing everything in one hit.

Your service report

At the end of each visit, you’ll receive a simple, plain-English summary of what we checked, what we fixed and what we recommend tackling next.

Light Care: Example month-by-month outline

Every site is different, but here’s an example of how we could approach the first 3 months. We’ll always adjust the order based on what will make the biggest difference for your website first.

Month 1 – Health check & quick wins

  • Run a general health check on your homepage and key pages.
  • Fix any obvious “broken bits” (layout issues, missing images, simple display problems).
  • Test your main contact/enquiry form to make sure messages are coming through.
  • Do a basic speed and page-load review and apply simple improvements.

Month 2 – Tidy-up & polish

  • Give key images a light optimisation pass so they load faster.
  • Clean up small visual niggles (spacing, alignment, readability) on a few key pages.
  • Check links on the homepage and main navigation to ensure they still go to the right place.
  • Pick one extra page to review and tidy based on visitor importance (e.g. main service page).

Month 3 – Ongoing touch-ups

  • Re-check forms and key pages after any changes you’ve made since Month 1–2.
  • Review basic SEO details (page titles and descriptions) on a small set of important pages.
  • Address any new issues that have appeared through normal use of the site.
  • Update your next priority list so you know what we’d tackle if you continue the plan.

Standard Care

price: $450/month (Inc. GST)

Suggested Time Frame: 3-6 month

Best for: Growing sites with occasional new content.

Everything in Light Care, plus:

  • Home-Page & Key-Page Refinements
  • Accessibility Compliance Check
  • Broken Resource & Script Check
  • Mobile Responsiveness Audit
  • Page-by-Page Title, Keyword & Meta Description Analysis

Standard Care

Best for: Active small businesses, NDIS providers and service-based sites that add or change content from time to time.

What it does

  • Includes everything in Light Care, but with more room to get things done each month.
  • Gives your homepage and key service pages a regular tidy-up so they stay current.
  • Checks your site on mobiles and tablets to make sure it’s easy to use on smaller screens.
  • Makes sure important information is easy to find and clearly laid out.
  • Works through a broader improvement list – things like metadata, FAQs and key content updates.

How it runs

  • Set up as an ongoing care plan with a clear list of priorities for your site.
  • Each cycle, we tackle a couple of key areas rather than just one, so your site improves faster.
  • As we complete the “must do” items, we move on to “nice to have” improvements that make your site feel more polished.

Timeframe

There’s no fixed timeframe – this is a month-to-month service, but it’s often used over 3–6 months for a solid round of improvements, and can continue as a regular tune-up as your site grows.

Key benefits

  • Your main pages always feel up to date and aligned with your business.
  • Better experience on phones, where most people are browsing.
  • Noticeable improvement over a shorter period compared with Light Care.
  • Great middle-ground for businesses that are growing and want steady progress.

Your service report

After each round of work, you’ll receive a short report outlining the areas we improved, what was changed and why, plus a refreshed list of priorities for the next visit.

Standard Care: Example month-by-month outline

Every site is different, but here’s an example of how we could approach the first 3 months. We’ll always adjust the order based on what will make the biggest difference for your website first.

Month 1 – Foundations & fixes

  • Run a full health check on the homepage and your main service or product pages.
  • Fix obvious issues: broken layout, missing content blocks, simple script or display problems.
  • Test all key forms (contact, enquiry, basic booking/sign-up if applicable).
  • Check how the site looks and works on mobiles and tablets and fix any major pain points.
  • Start a basic tidy-up of page titles and descriptions for your most important pages.

Month 2 – Structure, clarity & mobile experience

  • Improve how information is structured on key pages so it’s easier to scan and understand.
  • Refine headings and on-page wording to better reflect what you actually do now.
  • Do a more detailed mobile pass on 2–3 key sections of the site.
  • Continue improving page titles and meta descriptions on additional important pages.
  • Review navigation labels and main menu items for clarity and simplicity.

Month 3 – SEO basics & helpful content

  • Complete SEO basics on remaining priority pages (titles, descriptions, headings, alt text).
  • Review and update your FAQ page or create one if it doesn’t exist.
  • Check for broken links and outdated content on a wider range of pages.
  • Prepare a refreshed improvement list for future months, based on how visitors are using the site.

Premium Care

price: $770/month (Inc. GST)

Suggested Time Frame: 3-6 month

Best for: Lead-gen sites and small e-commerce.

Everything in Standard Care, plus:

  • Cross-Browser Compatibility Testing
  • Core Web Vitals Monitoring & Optimisation
  • Schema Markup & Rich Snippets Review
  • Analytics & Page-Flow Insights
  • FAQ Page Updates & Expansion

Premium Care

Best for: Established businesses and smaller online stores where the website is a main driver of enquiries or sales, and you want steady, measurable improvement rather than just “keeping the lights on”.

What it does

  • Includes everything in Standard Care, but lets us go deeper and move faster.
  • Looks at how people actually move through your site – what they click, where they drop off, and which pages do the real work.
  • Tweaks layouts, buttons and wording to encourage more enquiries, calls, bookings or sales.
  • Checks how your site behaves in major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) so visitors get a consistent, professional experience.
  • Improves how your business appears in Google by refining on-page content and behind-the-scenes extras like FAQ snippets and rich results (where suitable).
  • Keeps FAQ and key information pages fresh and more helpful, so your team answers fewer repetitive questions.
  • Gradually works through a larger improvement list – design polish, content clarity, performance and search visibility.

How it runs

  • Set up as a regular monthly improvement cycle.
  • We start with an audit, agree on a clear list of priorities, and then chip away at that list month by month.
  • Each cycle, we tackle several key areas (not just one), so you see visible progress more quickly than with Light or Standard Care.
  • As we complete foundation items and obvious fixes, we shift more attention into conversion improvements, polish and refinement.

Timeframe

There’s no fixed timeframe – this is a month-to-month service, but it’s often used over 3–6 months to see strong, compounding gains. Many businesses keep Premium Care running as their ongoing optimisation plan once they see the results.

Key benefits

  • More visitors turning into leads or customers, not just more traffic.
  • A smoother, more professional experience for repeat visitors and regular clients.
  • Stronger presence in Google over time, without the cost of a full SEO agency retainer.
  • A clear, ongoing improvement program instead of stop–start, one-off fixes.
  • Feels like having a small, dedicated web team quietly tuning your site in the background.

Your service report

Every month you’ll receive a clear, plain-English report showing what we worked on, which pages or sections were updated, why those changes were made, any noticeable shifts in behaviour or site quality, and a simple list of priorities for the next round.

Premium Care: Example month-by-month outline

Every site is different, but here’s an example of how we could approach the first 3 months. We’ll always adjust the order based on what will make the biggest difference for your website first.

Month 1 – Audit, critical fixes & key journeys

  • Run a deeper audit of your homepage, key service/product pages and main enquiry or checkout flows.
  • Fix high-impact issues that could be costing you leads or sales (broken forms, confusing steps, obvious drop-off points).
  • Review analytics to identify your most visited pages and where people are abandoning the site.
  • Start improving page titles, descriptions and headings for your top landing pages.
  • Check behaviour in major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) and address any critical inconsistencies.

Month 2 – Conversion tuning & richer search results

  • Refine layouts, buttons and calls-to-action on key pages to encourage more enquiries or purchases.
  • Polish the wording on important pages to make them clearer and more persuasive.
  • Enhance FAQs and key information pages to reduce confusion and support common questions.
  • Review and improve how your content appears in Google (e.g. using FAQ-style content or rich snippets where suitable).
  • Continue SEO and usability improvements on additional high-traffic or strategic pages.

Month 3 – Ongoing optimisation & prioritised improvements

  • Re-check key funnels (enquiry forms, bookings, checkout) after the first two months of changes.
  • Look at updated analytics to see what’s improved and where people are still getting stuck.
  • Apply further tweaks to improve conversion rates and ease-of-use based on real visitor behaviour.
  • Expand improvements to secondary sections of the site (support pages, secondary services, resources).
  • Provide a clear roadmap of suggested priorities if you continue the Premium Care plan beyond Month 3.

Q: If some tasks are one-off, what do you do in later months?

A: The plans aren’t about repeating the same checklist forever – they’re about steadily working through an improvement list for your site. Some things are one-off jobs (like fixing old meta data); once they’re done, we don’t keep charging you to “re-fix” them. Instead, we move on to the next priorities: new areas to improve, fresh checks as your content changes, and ongoing tweaks based on how people are actually using your site.

Lower-level plans move through that list more slowly. Higher-level plans let us cover more ground each month and tackle bigger jobs sooner.

How It Works

Choose your care level

Pick the plan that best matches your site and goals — Light Care, Standard Care or Premium Care.
Light focuses on essentials, Standard adds more structure and polish, and Premium gives you steady, deeper optimisation.

We review your site and set priorities

We start with a practical review of your website and how it’s currently being used. From there, we create a simple improvement list in plain English — speed, layout, forms, content clarity, basic SEO and anything else that needs attention.

Monthly improvement cycles

Each month, we work through that list at the pace of your chosen plan.
One-off jobs (like fixing old meta data or broken bits) are tackled first, then we move into ongoing refinements like UX tweaks, content updates and conversion improvements. Lower plans move more slowly; higher plans let us cover more ground each month.

Approval for major changes

If a change would significantly alter your content, layout or user journey, we’ll send you a short explanation and get your approval before we touch anything. No surprises, no “who changed this?” moments.

Clear report after each round

After each round of work, you’ll receive a plain-English report outlining:

  • What we worked on
  • Why those changes were made
  • Any improvements or issues we’ve noticed
  • What we recommend focusing on next

This way, UX & Performance Optimisation Care stays predictable, transparent and focused on what actually moves the needle for your site.

Why Continuous Front‑End Care Matters

When we built your site, we applied the very latest design, navigation and performance techniques available at that time. But in digital, “latest” is a moving target:

  • New UX patterns emerge every few months.
  • SEO best practices evolve as search engines refine their algorithms.
  • Business goals and user needs shift as your company grows.

What’s Included

Your UX & Performance Optimisation Care plan covers practical improvements to how your site works, feels and shows up in search. Below is a checklist of common items we work through – from SEO and content updates to technical fixes and usability tweaks. We’ll choose and prioritise the right mix for your site and care level.

FAQs

Why weren’t these optimisations included in my initial website build?

Some of these tasks—like basic on-page SEO, responsive design and performance tuning—are part of our standard build process. However, every website project is scoped to a fixed number of build hours. Including every possible audit, test and fine-tune in that initial block would significantly increase the cost of your “day-one” website.

When you launch, the priority is getting your brand and core content live efficiently. Once your site is active, you gain valuable data on how visitors behave, which keywords drive traffic and how you stack up against competitors. That’s when the deeper audits and ongoing tweaks really pay off. Our UX & Performance Optimisation Care lets you invest in those insights over time—when they deliver the greatest return—rather than front-loading all work into the build phase.

How do you track and report the work you do?
We keep a clear record of every round of work completed under your care plan. After each session, you’ll receive a simple report outlining what we worked on, which pages or features were touched, and why those changes were made. This gives you a transparent history of improvements without needing to worry about tracking hours.
Do unused credits roll over or build up?
Care plans aren’t based on a bank of hours or credits. They run month to month, with ongoing improvements made at the pace of your chosen plan (Light, Standard or Premium). You can pause or cancel at any time, but there’s no “rollover” of unused time from one month to the next.
Can I change my package size mid-term?
Absolutely. If you find you need more (or less) ongoing work, you can move between Light, Standard and Premium Care. We’ll help you choose the level that best matches your site’s current size, activity and goals, and you can adjust as things change.
What counts as a “major change” requiring approval?

Major changes include substantial content rewrites, page‐template overhauls or new functionality. Anything that could materially alter layout, branding or user journeys will be flagged for your sign-off.

How fast will you respond to my requests?

Every request is read immediately and triaged by priority:

  • Critical (e.g. site-down errors, broken forms): Work begins within 24 hours.
  • High-priority (e.g. major UX blockers, performance regressions): Completed within 48 hours.
  • Standard improvements (e.g. minor tweaks, optimisations): Delivered within one week.

When you submit a request, we’ll confirm receipt, share its priority level and let you know the expected completion timeframe.

Can I use my care plan for one-off projects outside regular reviews?

In many cases, yes. Smaller one-off tasks — like a quick content tweak, minor layout adjustment or simple feature change — can often be included as part of your regular care work.

If you need a larger one-off project (for example, a full new page, major redesign of a section, or new functionality), we’ll usually treat that as a separate Support Package or project. We’ll explain the options clearly so you can decide what suits you best.

What if I need more work than my care plan normally covers?

If we identify work that goes beyond what’s reasonable for your current care level in a given period — such as a larger restructure, new section, or more complex upgrade — we won’t just plough ahead. We’ll outline what’s involved and suggest options, such as:

  • Treating it as a separate Support Package or project, or
  • Moving to a higher care level if ongoing work at that pace makes sense.

You stay in control of what gets done and when.

What does “Unmeasured” mean under SEO Enhancements?

By default, our SEO enhancements are unmeasured. That means we apply on-page SEO tweaks based on proven best practices — things like meta tags, heading structure, image alt text and internal linking — without running paid third-party tracking tools in the background.

If you’d like measured SEO reporting (for example, detailed keyword tracking, rank reports or backlink analysis), we can organise this through a specialist SEO company we work with here in Townsville. They’ll provide the in-depth reports, and we’ll work alongside them to implement the recommendations as part of your UX & Performance Optimisation Care.

To enquire about fees for measured SEO reporting, please get in touch with us and we can discuss options.
